Júlia Martí
Born in Barcelona in 2001, Júlia Martí-Gasull began her studies at the Barcelona Conservatory from 2013 to 2017. She continued her training at the Vaganova School in Russia from 2017 to 2019 and then to the European Ballet Academy School in Amsterdam from 2019 to 2020. The season from 2020 to 2021 she was part of the High Performance Programme in Dance, where she participated in the International Gala at the Factoría Cultural de Terrassa, and where she danced Giselle 2nd act Pas de Deux with Ricardo Castellanos and The Nutcracker Grand Pas de Deux.
Later that year, she joined the National Ballet of the Czech Republic, in Prague, where she danced in several productions of classical, neoclassical and contemporary works.
Her repertoire includes roles in productions such as John Cranko’s Swan Lake (pas de quatre), Mauro Bigonzetti’s Kafka: The Process, John Neumeier’s A Streetcar named Desire, John Cranko’s Onegin, Márcia Haydeé’s Sleeping Beauty, Frederick Ashton’s Daughter Mal Gardeé, Youri Vamos’ Nutcracker and John Cranko’s Romeo and Juliet.
Recently, Julia has participated in the last creation of Ilya Jivoy for the Origen Cultural Festival in Switzerland, a very recognized festival in the world of performing arts.
