Cecilia Borghese was born in Pescara in 1997. She lived in Padua, where she began studying ballet with Francesca Moscianese as a teacher. At the age of nine she moved to Milan, where she entered the Ballet School of the Teatro Alla Scala. She continued her studies at the “Teatro dell’Opera di Roma”.

Among her teachers were: Elisabetta Terabust, Anna Maria Prina, Giuseppe Carbone, Clarissa Mucci, Iride Sauri, Tatiana Nikonova, Frédéric Olivieri, Arturo Cannistrán, Vera Karpenko, Alejandro Stepkine, Vladimir Derevianko, Fabrizio Monteverde, Ofelia Gon Paolo Mangiola, Susana Beltrami, Matteo Bittante, Valerio Longo, Giuliano Peparini.

During the years of his artistic studies, she participated in many productions of Teatro dell’Opera, such as Attila directed by Riccardo Muti, Schiaccianoci, Don Chisciotte. She graduated in July 2017, under the direction of Paola Jorio. In November 2017 she joined the Balletto di Roma Company, participating in all the Company’s productions.

Her professional experience goes through dancing in shows such as Schiaccianoci by Massimiliano Volpini (2017); Lago dei cisne, ovvero and the song by Fabrizio Monteverde (2018); the international tour in Argentina with Giulietta and Romeo by Fabrizio Monteverde (2018); the festival Oriente Occidente with the piece Sogno, una nota di mezza estate by Davide Valrosso (2018); HU Robot by Ariella Vidack (2018); was selected for the new version of Gala by Jérôme Bel (2018); was principal dancer for the new version of Schiaccianoci by Massimiliano Volpini (2018); Otello by Fabrizio Monteverde (2019); international tour of France with Giulietta and Romeo by Fabrizio Monteverde with the role of Nutrice (2019); Io, Don Chrisciotte by Fabrizio Monteverde (2019); Première by Andrea Costanzo Martini with solo role (2020); Astor, un secolo di tango by Valerio Longo (2021-2022); was selected to perform a new version of Arcaico by Davide Bombana (2022); worked as a professional dancer in Filippi’s Amici di Maria (2022); Balletto di Roma in productions of Giulietta and Romeo by Fabrizio Monteverde and Astor, un secolo de tango by Valerio Longo (2022); After Echos by Travis Clausen-Knight and James Pett; En tutto cuore tour outdoor Claudio Baglioni by Giuliano Peparini (2023-2024); Opéra Garnier by Nu’ Art (2024); Dolce&Gabbana to dance with Christina Aguilera and Katy Perry by Giuliano Peparini (2024).
